AGROTEXTILES

Polypropylene agrotextile is an increasingly popular solution to protect crops from weeds. We manufacture flat textiles with a width of 40-520 cm.

At the request of our clients, we can produce agrotextiles with a thickness of 70 and 90 g/m² from round-woven textiles and 100-200 g/m² woven on flat SULZER looms.

All of them contain UV stabiliser, which prolongs the life of the textiles. We can also produce “coloured” textiles. Then, we interweave a black warp ribbon with a colourful weft ribbon.
The most popular are green and brown.

Our new plants will eventually process 2000 tonnes of PP per month. As of today, we have 55 looms, 1 thread extrusion line, 1 warping machine and 3 winders, and the target is 150 flat looms (SULZER), 3 extruders, and 2 warping machines and 4 winders.

Flat textiles offer the possibility of producing textiles with markers in a 15×15 cm to 25×25 cm square.

The advantages of using polypropylene agrotextiles in agriculture or horticulture are:

  • protection against weed growth – reduction of the need to use herbicides;
  • maintaining water in the soil;
  • maintaining higher soil temperature – better vegetation of cultivated plants.

Apart from protecting against soil drying out, agrotextiles also allow water from precipitation to seep through.

On request, we can prepare the textile in commercial packaging (e.g. 20 m²) with a label in accordance with the client’s order, logo, text in any language – provided by the client)

GEOTEXTILES

Shankar TechX’s Geotextiles is a high durability product line, widely used for filtering, stabilising, reinforcing, separating, draining and insulating soils in the categories of construction applications. Made in individual multifilament yarns/ribbons woven together into a stable textile structure with an excellent combination of physical, mechanical and hydraulic properties. We manufacture flat textiles with a width of 40-520 cm.

On request we can produce 100-250 g/m² of fabrics woven on flat
SULZER looms. In addition to standard products, we can produce textiles according to the parameters set by the client.

All of them contain UV stabiliser, which prolongs the life of the textiles.

The geotextiles produced by Shankar TechX’s Geotextiles are characterised by:
* excellent separation properties;
* excellent resistance to natural chemical properties of the environment;
* filtration properties.

We also produce textiles for the manufacture of GCL concrete mats in thicknesses of 120 and 200 g/m² on rolls of 1000 mb.
